The love of God. That Christ and a forgiven sinner should be made one, and share heaven between them, is the wonder of salvation; what more could love do? [Samuel Rutherford]
In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent His only Son into the world, so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we have loved God but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins (I John 4:9-10).
A hymn to read, sing, hum, or whistle, to the glory of God: Within a Crib My Savior Lay. Timothy Dudley-Smith, 1968
