JOY

Joy is the flag that is flown from the citadel of the heart when the King is in residence. ---- Anonymous

The LORD is my chosen portion and my cup; You hold my lot. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance. I have set the LORD always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. There my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my flesh also dwells secure. You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore (Psalm 16:5-6, 8-9, 11).

JOY

Joy ceases to be joy when it ceases to be "in the Lord".  -- J. Alec Motyer

I have set the LORD always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: my flesh also shall rest in hope. Thou wilt show me the path of life; in Thy presence is fulness of joy; at Thy right hand there are pleasures forevermore. (Psalm 16:8-11).

Joy

Good morning!

JOY. We are meant to enjoy our salvation, not endure it.  John Blanchard

The LORD is my chosen portion and my cup; You hold my lot. The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance. I have set the LORD always before me; because He is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken. Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices (Psalm 16:5-6, 8-9).

A hymn to read or sing aloud to the glory of God: JOY TO THE WORLD, THE LORD IS COME.
