PRAYER

On God rests my salvation and my glory; my mighty rock, my refuge is God. Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us (Psalm 62:7-8).

Truly, truly, I say to you, whatever you ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be full (John 16:23-24).

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:6-7).

Since then we have a great high priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weakness, but one who in every respect has been tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time need (Hebrews 4:14-16).

And Asa cried to the LORD his God, "O LORD, there is none like You to help, between the mighty and the weak. Help us, O LORD our God, for we rely on You, and to Your name we have come against the multitude. O LORD, You are our God; let no man prevail against You." Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in Him and He will act (Psalm 37:4-5).

Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, 'Here I am.' (Psalm 58:9a).
