PROVIDENCE

God's providence. A firm faith in the universal providence of God is the solution of all earthly problems. It is almost equally true that a clear and full apprehension of the universal providence of God is the solution of most theological problems. -- Benjamin B. Warfield
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and in the earth is Yours. Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, and You are exalted as head above all. Both riches and honor come from You, and You rule over all. In Your hand are power and might, and in Your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all. And now we thank You, our God, and praise Your glorious name (I Chronicles 29:11-13).
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself, and God our Father, who loved us and gave us eternal comfort and good hope through grace, comfort your hearts and establish them in every good work and word (II Thessalonians 2:16).

Providence

There are three stages in the work of God: impossible, difficult, done. ---- J. Hudson Taylor

And I will lead the blind in a way that they do not know, in paths that they have not known I will guide them. I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground. These are the things I do, and I do not forsake them (Isaiah 42:16).

A hymn to read, sing, hum, or whistle, to the glory of God: Great Is Thy Faithfulness.

"Great is thy faithfulness, O God my Father, there is no shadow of turning with thee; thou changest not, thy compassions, they fail not; as thou hast been thou forever wilt be" (Thomas O. Chisholm, 1923).

Providence

Life's trials are not unnatural barriers to our life with God, but are the appointed way forward to spiritual maturity. ---- Alec Motyer

....though now for a little while you may have had to suffer grief in all kinds of trials, these have come so that your faith --- of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire --- may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed (I Peter 1:6b-7)

A hymn to read, sing, hum, or whistle, to the glory of God: A Wonderful Savior is Jesus My Lord --

"A wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord, he taketh my burden away; he holdeth me up, and I shall not be moved, he giveth me strength as my day (second stanza)."

Providence

While providence supports, Let saints securely dwell; That hand which bears all nature up Shall guide His children well. ---- Philip Doddridge

Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? And one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear ye not therefore, ye are of more value than many sparrows. (Matthew 10:29-31, KJV).

A hymn to read, sing, hum, or whistle, to the glory of God: God Will Take Care of You. "Be not dismayed what e'er betide, God will take care of you; beneath His wings of love abide, God will take care of you. God will take care of you, through ev'ry day, o'er all the way; He will take care of you, God will take care of you.

God's Providence

Good morning!

God's Providence. We must consider every aspect of our lives as from the hand of God, for this, indeed, is the truth ---- there is a dynamic, divine purpose in all things. Our Creator is in complete control, and every happening reveals an unfolding pattern, contributing to an overall masterpiece in which He is working all things for His own glory and the good of those who by grace through faith are in Christ. He is their joy and security. --- pgs

He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, He has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot fathom what God has done from the beginning to the end. I know that there is nothing better for men than to be happy and do good while they live....this is the gift of God. I perceived that whatever God does endures forever; nothing can be added to it, nor anything taken from it. God has done it, so that people fear before Him (Ecclesiastes 3:11, 12, 14; see also verses 1-8).

And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose. For those whom He foreknew He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son....and those whom He predestined He also called, and those whom He called He also justified, and those whom He justified He also glorified. What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:28-29a, 30).
