HARVEST

Thanksgiving. Here a little child I stand,
Heaving up my either hand;
Cold as paddocks though they be,
Here I lift them up to Thee,
For a benison to fall
On our meat, and on us all.
   --- Robert Herrick (1591 - 1674)

Blessed be the LORD, who daily loads us with benefits, even the God of our salvation (Psalm 68:19)

A hymn to read, sing, hum, or whistle, to the glory of God: Sing To the Lord of Harvest, John S. B. Monsell, 1866.
